The key to a good driveway is not always about what you see on the surface, often it is about what is underneath and the preparation. We will excavate your driveway, to the correct depth depending on the finished surface you decide to have, using mechanical excavators and lead away all soil and rubble.
A membrane is placed over the bottom of the area prior to importing type 1 graded road stone. If the area is large enough a vibrating roller is used to compact the sub-base, otherwise a plate compactor is used.
Block paved driveways are constructed by spreading and compacting a layer of grit sand over the hardcore sub-base. The grit sand is then screeded to the correct levels before laying your chosen block.
You may not want block paving so at Waterdale Landscapes we can provide you with the surface and finish you like, even if that means bringing in outside contractors
